Applications are opened for IIM Ahmedabad 1 year MBA programme PGPX program 2019-20 academic session for the professionals having minimum 4 years of full-time work experience. IIM Ahmedabad 1 Year MBA program is a One-Year full-time residential program at its campus.
On the lines of international MBA programs, the IIM Ahmedabad PGPX program is for professionals with a minimum of 4 years of full-time work experience after graduation. Applications for the program in Round 1 will be accepted till September 3, 2018. And for Round 2 application cycle is from September 6 to November 5, 2018.

Eligibility Criteria for IIMA PGPX
The eligibility criteria for IIM Ahmedabad 1 Year MBA program (PGPX) is as below –
- You must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline. (Minimum 15 years of study as per the education system in India (10 + 2 + 3 or 4 as the case may be).
- The minimum age limit is 25 years as on March 31 of the year in which the PGPX program commences. In other words, those wanting to join the 2019-20 batch must be born on or before March 31, 1994. There is no upper age limit.
- You must have a valid GMAT/GRE score (GMAT/GRE scores are valid for five years from the date to the application deadline date of the round in which candidate is applying).
- A minimum of 4 years of full-time work experience, is needed, after completion of graduation.
Application Process
If you satisfy all the criteria listed above wish to apply for the 2019 – 2020 PGPX Programme then the first step for you, as an applicant, is to go to the PGPX Application portal for registration by filling up your personal details including name, email address, and other details. Also, you need to create a username and password.
Once the registration is over, you will be able to log in and fill in the application form and submit it. At the time of application submission, you will be prompted to pay the application fee.
Application Fee
Those who apply in round 1 i.e on or before 11:59 pm (IST) on September 3, 2018, the application fees is Rs 5000. The fee will be Rs 7500 for those who apply in round 2 i.e between 10:00 am (IST) September 6 and 11:59 pm (IST) on November 5, 2018.

Admission Process
For the 2019 – 2020 PGPX Programme, the participants will be shortlisted in two rounds. The last date for submission of applications for consideration for Round 1 is September 03, 2018, and for Round 2, the last date for submission of applications is November 05, 2018. At the time of application submission, essays or letters of recommendation are not needed.
The shortlist for Round 1 will be announced on September 17. The essay topic announcement will be on September 20 with the submission deadline on September 28.
Interviews will take place in Delhi on October 6-7, Ahmedabad on October 13-14, Bangalore on October 20-21 with London and Newark yet to be announced. The final selection list will be announced on November 12.
In Round 2, the shortlist will be announced on November 16. The essay topic announcement will be on November 16 with the submission deadline on November 26.
Interviews will take place in Delhi on December 1-2, Ahmedabad on December 8-9, Bangalore on December 15-16 with London and Newark yet to be announced. The final selection list will be announced on December 28.
Selection Procedure
The students are selected through a rigorous admission process and care is taken to ensure that they meet the high academic standards of IIMA. Final selection would be based on academic record and performance in the personal interview.
For instance, the current (13th batch) students have an average GMAT score of around 700. They have an average work experience of more than 8.5 years in a variety of sectors.
The 13th batch of IIM Ahmedabad 1 Year MBA program have candidates who have worked in a diverse range of industries including Shipping and Telecom, Retail, NGO, Manufacturing, Media and Entertainment, IT & IT Services, Infrastructure, Healthcare, Govt. Service and Public Sector Enterprise, FMCG, Financial Services, Energy and Power, Defence and Security, Consulting and Professional Services, Aerospace and Aviation, Academics and Education.

PGPX graduates have been absorbed by corporate houses for various roles, from senior managers and consultants to general managers and CXOs.
IIMA PGPX 2019-20 Program Fees
PGPX fees is usually a packaged fee which includes – tuition fees, books and course materials, accommodation, food charges (for those who are staying in SSH) and other service facilities such as the library, computing, network changes etc.
The Program Fee for PGPX 2019-20 is Rs 27,00,000 + the cost of International Immersion Programme (IIP). IIMA accepts online payments for various purposes through Credit card/Debit card/Net Banking.
However, the above fees do not include the cost of International Immersion Programme (IIP). Utilities such as electricity, telephone, laundry, sports/gym subscription are additional and to be paid as per usage charges.
