BITSAT 2019, Admission Test for BITS-Pilani First Degree Programmes

BITS Pilani has released online application forms for admission to its Integrated First Degree programmes at Pilani, Hyderabad and Goa campuses for the academic year 2019-20. The BITSAT 2019 application forms were released on January 4, 2019, and the last date to fill and submit the same is March 20, 2019.

BITS Admission Test, BITSAT 2019 is a Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted from May 16 to May 26. The candidates who are interested in doing the undergraduate programme from BITS campus can apply for the BITSAT examination 2019.

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2019

To apply for the BITSAT 2019 candidates must have the eligibility criteria required by the exam. Below given are the eligibility criteria for BITSAT-

1. The candidate who is applying for the BITSAT 2019 must have to pass the 12th exam in the subjects like PCM or PCB (for B.Pharma) and adequate proficiency in English.
2. To apply candidates should have an aggregate of 75% marks in the exam and the 60% marks in all the subjects.
3. The candidates who are appearing in the 12th exam in the year 2019 or who have cleared their 12th in 2018 can apply for the BITSAT 2019.

BITSAT Application Form 2019

BITSAT 2019 application form was released on January 4, 2019, the process to apply is completely online. The last date to apply for online registration is March 20, 2019. Below given are the steps to fill the application form.

• Candidates have to access the official website of BITSAT 2019.
• In the application form fill all the required details.
• Candidates have to upload a scanned passport sized photograph, the size of the photograph should not exceed 50 Kb and they also have to upload a scanned image of the signature, whose size should not exceed 30 Kb.
• Candidates have to pay the application fees online via debit/credit card or through the net banking. The application fees for male candidates and for female candidates are as below – 

BITSAT Exam Syllabus

The exam will be conducted on the basis of the NCERT syllabus of class 11th and 12th. The syllabus comprises the topics of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English Proficiency and logical reasoning. For detailed syllabus check the official website of the BITSAT 2019.

BITSAT Exam Pattern 2019

The BITSAT 2019 exam will be from 16th May to 26th May, and the exam duration will be of three hours. The mode of examination will be a Computer based online test (CBT). The exam paper will have Multiple choice questions (MCQs). For each correct answer, you will get three marks. The wrong answer for any question will attract the penalty of negative marking, that is one mark will be deducted for the wrong answer. The test will have four sections that are Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning & Mathematics or Biology.

BITSAT Examination 2019 Test Centers

• Applicants can choose a maximum of three exam centers according to their preferences.
• In total there are 50 cities across India and one international center i.e in Dubai, UAE, where BITSAT 2019 will be conducted.
• The candidate who is planning for the test center in Dubai can only be able to fill the one center in their preference.

BITSAT Slot Booking

For booking the slot candidates need to log-in to their account using their application number, gender, date of birth and registered email ID. In the case candidates miss to book the slot for BITSAT 2019 then it will be allotted by the authorities default. While appearing for the entrance test it is preferable for the candidates to know about their test date.

Candidates will have to select a date, time and exam centre for the entrance test as per their preference during the BITSAT slot booking procedure. The slot bookings will be done on the basis of first come first serve, therefore candidates are advised to book their slot as soon as possible.
