The ICAI has confirmed the postponement of Chartered Accountant examinations, May 2019. After the recent announcement by Election Commission of India regarding 17th Lok Sabha Parliamentary 2019 election schedule, there is official notification by ICAI postponement of CA Exam, May 2019 dates.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has announced through official notification regarding the postponement of the Chartered Accountant examination, May 2019. The new examination scheduled is available at official ICAI Website. The last date to apply for the CA Exam May 2019 without late fees is also postponed to March 16.
The Chartered Accountant Examinations initially scheduled from 2nd May 2019 to 17th May 2019 stand rescheduled and the said examinations shall now be held from 27th May 2019 to 12th June 2019.
Moreover, ICAI has also postponed the last date for submission of exam forms without late fee is till March 16th, 2019, while with the late fee, it has been extended to March 23rd, 2019. However, ICAI mentioned that the other particulars/details as announced in the earlier notification shall remain unchanged.

Candidates must, however, note that no examination is scheduled on 5th June 2019 (Wednesday) on account of Id-ul-Fitr, being a Gazetted central government holiday.
Interested candidates need to apply for the CA Exam on the official website, icaiexam.icai.org. The application process began from February 20 and will conclude on March 16, 2019. The exams will be conducted over 193 exam centres across the country. Additionally, there are five foreign centres also where ICAI will conduct the CA exam.
