The ICAI, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India have released the CA CPT December 2017 Exam Admit Cards on its official website for all eligible applicants, who are appearing in the exam. ICAI is scheduled to conduct the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) December Exam 2017 on December 17, 2017 in two sessions viz 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm.
Candidates appearing for the CA entry-level examination can download CA CPT admit card December 2017 by login through their registered Id and password for CA CPT through the official link provided on this page. The admit card of CA CPT 2017 mentions candidate name, roll number as well as details about test and examination centres.
The exam conducting authority, ICAI has also notified that the CA CPT December 2017 admit card won’t be available in any other mode i.e by post to those who have applied online. They will be required to print their admit card from the below mentioned link and procedure. In terms of the decision of the Examination Committee of the Institute, the practices of sending physical admit cards by post are discontinued with effect from May 2017 examination onwards.
ICAI conducts CA CPT exam twice a year in the months of June and December. CA CPT December 2017 is scheduled to be held in a pen paper mode on December 17. Candidates must carry a valid CA CPT December 2017 admit card while appearing for the examination. Candidates are advised to keep extra copies of CA CPT 2017 admit card as well as photo ID card with them for verification at the examination hall.

ICAI will also open CA CPT Application Correction Window-2 from November 28, 2017 (11:00 Hrs IST) till December 09, 2017, for candidates who could not modify their medium and other details in correction window earlier.
The online registration for CA CPT December 2017 exam had begun on October 04, 2017 and applications with late fee were accepted till November 01, 2017. How to Download CA CPT December 2017 Exam Admit Card?
Step 1 – Click here or download CA CPT 2017 Admit Card.
Step 2 – Sign in to your profile using your registration credentials (Login ID (i.e. Registration Number) and password). Candidates will be directed to their ICAI registered account.
Step 3 – Candidates need to click on ‘view’ button for CA CPT December 2017 Admit Card.
Step 4 – Candidates need to save the admit card or click on download button to obtain the admit card for CPT. Before downloading the CA CPT December 2017 admit card, candidates need to verify all details furnished on it.

It is mandatory to carry the Admit Card on the exam day and in the absence of the same admission to the examination hall will not be granted. Candidates must check all instructions, exam venue, correct photograph, etc from the Admit Card.

ICAI CA CPT December 2017 Exam Schedule
The ICAI CA Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is scheduled for Sunday, December 17, 2017, and will be organized at test centres in 191 cities across India along with 5 international test centres in Kathmandu, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dubai, and Muscat.
The exam will be conducted in two sessions:
Paper-1 – Fundamentals of Accounting and Mercantile Law – 10:30 am to 12:30 pm
Paper-2 – General Economics and Quantitative Aptitude – 2 pm to 4 pm
CPT Exam Pattern
Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is an entry level test for Chartered Accountancy. It is an objective type MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) test of 200 marks of 4 subjects namely, Fundamentals of Accounting, Mercantile Laws, General Economics and Quantitative Aptitude with an objective to test the basic knowledge in these subjects.
CPT is divided into two sessions of two hours each, in between there is a small break. In the first session there are two sections:
Section A – Fundamentals of Accounting carrying 60 marks, and
Section B – Mercantile laws carrying 40 marks.
In the second session there are two sections:
Section C – General Economics carrying 50 marks, and
Section D – Quantitative Aptitude also carrying 50 marks.
Each question carries one mark and has four given choices. The students are required to darken the correct choice (circle) with a pencil in the given OMR sheet provided in the examination. The original test paper along with OMR sheet is to be returned before leaving the examination hall.
