The ICSI has postponed CS exams for the Executive and Professional programme scheduled on December 23 and December 24 across all over India and abroad test centres.
Earlier, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has postponed CS Executive programme and CS Professional programme examinations which were scheduled on December 20 and December 21 due to the protest against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Register of Citizens of India (NRC).
The notification said that the revised dates of the Company Secretary exams in respect of above-mentioned papers as well as papers scheduled for 20th and 21st December 2019 will be announced later on.
The examinations which are scheduled from Thursday, December 26, 2019 onward will be held at all Examination Centres across the country and abroad as per the examination schedule released by the institute earlier.
ICSI CS exam 2019 for the following subjects and corresponding modules have been postponed.

Due to the unavoidable circumstances, the examination authority has shifted one exam venue for Executive and Professional programmes at Prayagraj (Allahabad) to a new venue. ICSI CS admit cards of candidates will remain valid for the new centres and dates. The timings of CS Examinations will remain unchanged.

This year, ICSI is scheduled to conduct the Company Secretary Foundation exam at various test centres on 28th and 29th December 2019. The result for the CS December exam will tentatively be released in February 2020.
The CS Executive and Professional programmes December 2019 examinations were due to start from December 20, 2019. However, exams scheduled on December 20 and 21 were postponed, and hence the exam was due to start from December 23. With December 23 and 24 exams also got postponed, the CS exams will now officially begin from Thursday, December 26, 2019.
