Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Dharmendra Pradhan recently announced the National Institutional Ranking Framework, NIRF Rankings 2022 for the Indian institutions. The ministry of education recently released the Indian Engineering College Ranking for the year 2022.
The NIRF Ranking 2022 is announced to rank the Indian Educational Institutes in 11 categories – Overall, Universities, Engineering, Colleges, Management, Pharmacy, Medical, Architecture, Research Institutions, Dental, and Law.
It is of utmost importance that if you are going to study engineering, you select one of the top Indian Engineering colleges to make your chances of getting a better career option after graduation.
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras takes the title of the top engineering college in India. As per the NIRF rankings, the top three engineering colleges in the country are IIT Madras, IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay. For the last three years, these three institutes have been securing the same ranks.

NIRF Ranking 2022 Methodology
National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) is a methodology adopted by the MHRD, Government of India, to rank all the Indian institutions. Students planning to pursue engineering courses can check the top Indian engineering colleges and institutes here.
In the National Institutional Ranking Framework, Colleges are ranked based on five broad parameters. These are Teaching, Learning & Resources; Research and Professional Practice; Graduation Outcomes; Outreach and Inclusivity; and Perception.
