Last Date Extended to Clear CS Pre-Examination: As you are aware that clearing the Mandatory Pre-Examination test as a pre-requisite for CS Executive and Professional Programme students seeking enrolment in CS Executive and Professional Programme December 2019 Examinations (Under New Syllabus 2017). This Test will serve as eligibility criteria for the students to register and appear in the main Examination.
The ICSI (Institute of Company Secretaries of India) has extended the last date to clear the Pre-Examination Test for students desirous of enrolling for December 2019 Session of Examinations is 10th October 2019 (i.e. last date for submission of examination form with late fees).
CS Executive and Professional programme Students need to clear this pre-examination test to appear for the CS Executive and Professional ProgrammeExams. The Pre-Examination Test is required to be successfully Cleared before seeking enrolment to CS Executive and Professional Programme Examinations.
The Institute has decided to extend the last date for clearing the Online Pre-Exam Test till October 31, 2019. The due dates of enrollment for examination i.e September 25, 2019, without late fee and Oct 10, 2019, with late fee remains as such.
In view of the above, the students of Executive Programme and Professional Programme under New Syllabus (2017) shall be allowed to submit the examination form for December 2019 Session pending completion of Pre-Examination
Test. However, such students shall be required to complete the Pre-Examination Test by 31st October 2019.
All such CS Executive and Professional Students under New Syllabus (2017) who are required to clear the Pre-Exam test and yet not cleared it can now enrol for the main examination up to 25th September without late fees or up to October 10, 2018, with late fees with the condition of clearing the Pre-exam Test by October 31, 2019.
Students of Executive Programme and Professional Programme under New Syllabus (2017) desirous of enrolling for December 2019 are advised to take note that In case any student fails to clear the Pre-Examination Test by 31st October, 2019 after enrolling for December 2019 Session of Examinations, his/ her examination enrollment request shall be rejected without notice and 50% of the examination fees shall be refunded.

It means all such students are being given an extension to clear Pre-Exam test up to October 31, 2019. In case students are not able to clear the Pre-exam test by October 31, 2019, they will not be issued admit cards for the December 2019 Examination and 50% of the examination fee paid by such students will also be forfeited.
Further, all such students are required to submit an undertaking that students enrolling for the main examination without clearing the mandatory Pre-Examination Test shall clear the Test by 31 st October 2019 failing which they will not be issued admit cards and will not be allowed to take the main examination.

The ICSI Pre-Exam Test is a part of comprehensive e-learning project of the Institute for the students. Students who fail to clear the Pre-Examination Test shall NOT be eligible for seeking enrolment to the CS Executive/Professional Programme (New Syllabus 2017) examinations. Students have to pay a one-time fee as a registration fee of Rs. 1000/- for Pre-Examination test.
Students registered to CS Executive and CS Professional Programme and who have switched over from Company Secretary (CS) Old Syllabus to New Syllabus (2017) shall be required to clear this PreExamination Test before seeking enrolment to Main Examinations.
After successfully completing the Online Pre-Examination Test or the tests conducted by Regional/Chapter Offices as part of the Class Room Teaching, the online examination form shall be enabled by the Institute. Thereafter, they may submit the examination form through the Online Portal. For any clarification, students may submit their query at ICSI Support Portal under the head Pre-Examination Test.
Exemption from ICSI Pre-Examination Test
The Institute of Companies Secretaries of India exempted the students based on their Class Room Teaching performance also. Students passing the tests conducted as part of Class Room Teaching batches conducted by the Institute’s Regional and Chapter Offices are exempted from taking the Online Pre-Examination Test of the respective subjects/ modules.
