AFCAT 2 Recruitment 2022: The Indian Air Force (IAF) inviting applications for Commissioned Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches through AFCAT Entry 02/2022 , NCC Special Entry and Meteorology Entry for the courses commencing in July 2023. The last date to apply for AFCAT 2 recruitment is June 30, 2022, till 5:00 pm. Hence, all the aspirants are advised to fill out and submit their application forms as soon as possible.
The test is conducted twice a year in February and August. This AFCAT 2 recruitment drive is conducted to fill 270 different posts. Eligible and Interested candidates who want to appear for Air Force Common Admissions Test (AFCAT 2) Exam 2022 can apply online on the official website at afcat.cdac.in.
After successful registration, AFCAT 2 Admit Card will be issued on 10 August to appear for AFCAT 2 2022 Exam which will be conducted online on 26 August, 27 August, and 28 August 2022. The examination will be conducted in two shifts – the morning shift will begin at 7:30 am and the afternoon shift will be held from 12:30 pm.
AFCAT 02/2022 Vacancy Details
This IAF recruitment drive is conducted to fill 283 different posts, out of which 248 are for males and 35 for female candidates. Through AFCAT entry, a total of 270 vacancies are there of which 237 are for males and 23 vacancies for women candidates.

Indian Air Force AFCAT (2) Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification:
Candidates must have scored at least 50 percent marks in Class 12 examinations, with Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects. Candidates are also required to have a minimum 3-year graduation degree from a recognized university, with a minimum of 60 percent marks or 4-year BE/B Tech degree.
Age Limit:
The age criteria for Flying Branch and Ground Duty for AFCAT 2 Exam 2022 are-
Flying Branch- 20 to 24 years as of 01 July 2023 i.e. born between 02 July 1999 to 01 July 2003 (both dates inclusive). The upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 years i.e. born between 02 July 1997 to 01 July 2003 (both dates inclusive).
Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches- 20 to 26 years as of 01 July 2023 i.e. born between 02 July 1997 to 01 July 2003 (both dates Inclusive).

Step 1: Visit the official IAF website
Step 2: Under ‘Candidate Login’ click on the link that reads ‘AFCAT 2/2022 Cycle’.
Step 3: Complete the registration process.
Step 4: Fill in the required details.
Step 5: Upload the required documents, scanned signature, and photographs.
Step 6: Pay the AFCAT application fees online mode.
Step 7: Check the application form once and click on the submit button.
AFCAT Application Fees
The registration and examination fee for all the categories for AFCAT Entry is Rs 250/-. The payment can be made by using a debit card/credit card/internet banking/E Challan. No cash or cheque or demand draft (DD) will be accepted towards payment of the examination fee.
