CA Intermediate Nov 2018 Exam Time Table (Old and New Scheme) Announced By ICAI

CA Intermediate (as named as IPCC or Integrated Professional Competence Course in old scheme) is the second level of Chartered Accountancy. A person can take the Intermediate Examination after passing CA Foundation (CPT in old scheme) and nine months of study or direct route after their bachelor degree. The Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the date sheet for CA Intermediate Nov 2018 exam under Old and New Scheme.

The Exam Schedule for CA Intermediate Nov 2018 as per new scheme and CA IPCC Nov 2018 Exams will begin from Friday, Nov 02, 2018 in the afternoon session i.e 02:00 pm to 05:00 pm. This article contains the complete details of CA Intermediate (IPCC) Time Table, Fees, Exam Date Sheet for Group 1 and Group 2, for Nov 2018 Exams.

IPCC (as per old scheme) has two groups of seven subjects while CA Intermediate Course (as per New Scheme) has two groups of total eight subjects. In Old Scheme of CA IPCC, Group I consists of four subjects and Group II of three subjects while four subjects each in both groups in the CA Intermediate new scheme.

CA IPCC Time Table for Nov 2018 exam and CA Inter Exam Schedule for Nov 2018 had a gap of one day between each exam except for ‘Cost Accounting & Financial Management‘ which has 3 days gap. CA IPCC Time Table for May 2017 exam and CA Inter Exam Schedule for May 2018 had a gap of one day each between each exam.

A passing grade in Intermediate (IPCC) is awarded if the candidate obtains 40% marks in each subject and an aggregate of 50% in the aggregate in each group. The benefit of set-off is also available if the candidate appears for both groups together and obtains 50% collectively in both groups, even if he fails to obtain an individual aggregate of 50% in each group independently.

CA Intermediate Nov 2018 Exam (New Scheme) Time Table has been provided below. The First exam of CA Intermediate May 2018 (New Scheme) is Accounts Paper. The exams will be held in the Afternoon Session: 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM (IST).

CA Examination Centres

Total 192 major cities and places are located as Examination Centres in India, provided that a sufficient number of candidates offer themselves to appear from the centre. There are also international centres for overseas students –

• DOHA
• DUBAI
• KATHMANDU
• MUSCAT

The Examination timings at Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Muscat Centres will be 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM (their local time). The Examination timing at Doha Centre will be 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The Examination Timing at Kathmandu (Nepal) Centre will be 2:15 PM to 5:15 PM Nepal local time corresponding / equivalent to 2.00 PM
to 5.00 PM (IST).

• The Application Form for CA Intermediate Nov 2018 Exam (Old and New Scheme) can be filled online from August 06, 2018 to 27th August 2018.
• August 27, 2018, is the last date for submission of filled up examination application form without late fees and until September 04, 2018 with late fees.
• All candidates in respect of Intermediate (IPC), Intermediate (Revised Scheme) Examinations will be required to apply online at http://icaiexam.icai.org and also pay the applicable examination fee online only.

Study Plan for CA Intermediate Nov 2018 Exam (Old and New Scheme)

Students are advised to draw your own CA Intermediate (IPCC) Study Time Table and Schedule for Nov 2018 exam for both preparation and revision. AfterGraduation recommend-

• Students to spend at least 3 hours a day, for 3 months, for preparing for Group 1.
• Study Smart and practice most topics in the book.
• Students to spend at least 2 hours a day, for 2 months, for preparing for Group 2.
• Allocate sufficient time for Tax and Accounts in your Study Time Table for Nov 2018 exam, as both are scoring subjects.
• CA Intermediate Nov 2018 Exam (Old and New Scheme) will have a good number of amendments in Tax paper, so keep that in mind.
• CA Intermediate Nov 2018 Exam (Old and New Scheme) paper is likely going to be lengthy and tricky, so students are advised to practice more and more practical problems, by putting more importance on practice manual into the study timetable.
• Most students preparing for CA IPCC Group 2 for Nov 2018 will be undergoing articleship training. So, plan your studies accordingly.
