CCMT 2019 Application Process Begins, Apply By April 26

The online registration process for Centralized Counseling for M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan./M.Des. (CCMT-2019) has started from April 8th. The GATE qualified candidates can start applying at CCTM 2019 which is coordinated by National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela.

This is a common and convenient platform for candidates to apply for M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan./M.Des. programmes admission, based on their GATE score of years 2017, 2018 and 2019. The last date to register for CCMT 2019 counselling is April 26, 2019.

Through CCMT, Candidates can fill-in single online application and apply to eligible all programmes in all the participating institutions. CCMT eliminates the need for students to apply for individual institutes. Moreover, the students neither have to register for different participating institutes separately nor attend separate counselling.

The candidates who have qualified GATE  2017, 2018 or 2019 examination can only register for the centralized counselling at the CCMT 2019 official website.

CCMT 2019 Counseling: Steps to follow

Notably, the older scorecards will be given priority during the counselling, i.e. 2017 candidates will be given preference over 2018, and 2018 candidates will be given preference over 2019 candidates.

Candidates can register online and pay the fee until April 26, 2019, till 11:59 pm. The last date for choice filling is April 29, 2019 till 11:59 pm. Candidates are advised to read the information brochure which is available on the official website carefully before applying for CCMT-2019. All those candidates who qualify the seat allotment process need to confirm their seats by paying the seat acceptance fee.

The counselling system was initiated in 2012 for centralized admission for Postgraduate programmes. CCMT 2019 has incorporated new features including online withdrawal and willingness change among others. Many participating Institutes/ Universities are also implementing the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) reservation introduced by Government of India.
