IIM Bodhgaya Summer Placement 2018, Admission Process Opens for the 2018-2020 Batch

As an aspirant of MBA, it is important for you to choose the best college for it. IIM Bodhgaya (IIM-BG) has given 100% summer placement for the batch 2017-19 with 63 offers to 40 brilliant students grabbing higher stipends and is currently all set to open the PGP 2018-20 admission procedure in a very few days. Candidates will have to apply by reconfirming their interest for admission to IIM Bodhgaya.

Talking about the summer placement, the IIM Bodhgaya concluded its summer placement with the highest stipend offered at Rs 1, 00,000 for the time duration of eight weeks and with an average stipend of Rs 61,935. It’s a good thing for the college that the average stipend has increased 31% over last year placements.

Indian Institute of Management Bodhgaya has been successful in living up to the image of the prestigious IIM brand. With the increase of 31 % in the average stipend, the institute has concluded its summer placement for its 3rd batch 2017-19, and it is moving to open the admission in a few days for the next batch that is 2018-20.

Offers to the Students: with the batch of 40 students, the institute witnessed good response from the industry as 24 companies extending 63 offers to 40 students.

Higher Placements: The summer placement procedure concluded with the highest stipend offered at Rs 1,00,000 for the duration of 8 weeks, with an average stipend of Rs 61,935.

IIM Bodhgaya Admission Procedure

IIM-BG is to open its admission process in very few days and will send an e-mail to the eligible candidates who have shown interest to take admission in IIM Bodhgaya PGP 2018-20 batch. According to IIM Bodhgaya, “The basic objective of IIM Bodhgaya’s admission process is to identify meritorious candidates for admission under each category of admission.”

There is 4 steps approach to finalize the admission process at IIM Bodhgaya for the batch 2018-20:

  1. To determine the eligibility of candidates as per CAT 2017 score.
  2. The Candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Appearance (PA) process as per its admission policy 2018.
  3. The Personal Appearance process which comprises two phases, Written Analysis Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).
  4. Preparing the final admission list based on CAT score, PI & WAT score and Profile score.

IIM Bodhgaya Shortlisting Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who have scored minimum section-wise and overall percentile in CAT 2017 will be considered for Short-listing for PI and WAT round although actual section-wise and overall percentile of a short-listed candidate may be much higher than the prescribed minimum percentile:

Expression of Interest

Eligible candidates have to reconfirm their interest in IIM Bodhgaya admission. The candidates have to submit their expression of interest on IIM Bodhgaya official website if they found eligible as per CAT percentile cutoff score. The candidates have to know the details of the admission process before it starts.

Shortlisting for PI-WAT

The shortlisting for the eligible candidates for the PI-WAT will be done by the IIM Bodhgaya on the basis of CAT 2017 scores. Candidates will be shortlisted for final admission process comprising PI and WAT. IIM Bodhgaya will prepare a merit list on the basis of their performance in final selection round.

Criteria for Final Selection of IIM Bodhgaya Admission 2018-20

The final selection list will be based on merit in each category based on the weightage for each parameter. The minimum qualification on the weightage criteria would not automatically qualify the candidate for admission in IIM Bodh Gaya.
