IIM Calcutta PGPEX 2018-19 Admission Process Started for Mid Career Professionals

IIM Calcutta has started the admission process for its 12^th batch of One Year Full Time Residential Programme – PGPEX (Post Graduate Programme for Executives). It provides mid-career professionals the ideal platform to augment their existing skill sets as they endeavour to armour themselves for senior and top management roles in the industry.

It is this heady mix of fervour, idealism, experience and moderating values that catalyses the transformation of experienced professionals into dynamic ethical leaders. This indeed is the true objective of the PGPEX Management Programme.

Admission Schedule For PGPEX

While the date for downloading the application form and brochure began on June 30, aspirants could submit the completed application forms online from July 1 to October 22, 2017. The names of the shortlisted candidates will be announced in the first week of November.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree (minimum 10+2+3 years of formal education) or equivalent in any discipline.
• At least 5 years of full time post qualification managerial/professional experience as on March 31, 2018.
• Valid GMAT Score, should be taken within last 36 months of application date).

Fees & Other Expenses

The fee of the PGPEX programme for the academic year 2018- 19 will be Rs 22,00,000 (non-refundable) or equivalent in US Dollars for one year, plus applicable service tax payable in four installments.

• The first installment of Rs 4,00,000 plus tax should be paid by December 23 or last date of acceptance.
• The second installment of Rs 5,00,000 plus tax should be paid by April 25-26, 2018 or date of registration.
• The third installment of Rs 7,00,000 plus tax by July 25
• And the fourth installment of Rs 6,00,000 plus tax by November 28.
• An amount of Rs 20,000 has to be paid as refundable caution deposit at the time of registration. (Students provided with family accommodation will have to pay Rs 48,000 extra).

The programme fee includes tuition fees, the cost of study material, accommodation and cost of study tours organised by IIMC. Airfare, visa and medical insurance charges for overseas study tours will be borne by the Institute. However, students will have to bear the expenses for food, personal travel, electricity, cable TV, other utility and misc., expenses and any other expenses of personal nature during their stay in the campus or abroad.

Interested and eligible aspirants can fill the online Applications for Admission to PGPEX Batch 12 (2018-19). Click here to apply online. Applicants who do not wish to apply online, can use the Application Form (Click here to download) and send the application to the address mentioned. However applicants are encouraged to apply online.

Along with the application form, an application fee is to be paid by demand draft/banker’s cheque. The other documents GMAT score card, proof of proficiency in English, if applicable, self-attested scanned copies of original certificates and mark sheets / transcripts of examinations passed/degrees obtained. You should also submit a Statement of Purpose and two Letters of Recommendation.

• GMAT score
• Personal interviews
• Statement of purpose &
• Recommendation

Institute does not use any pre-determined GMAT score. For selecting candidates for admission, an overall assessment is made on the basis of all above factors .
